Jessica brings to the table the expertise of a nonprofit researcher, the technical skill of an AI-trainer, and the imaginative spark of a fiction writer. She has authored top SEO-ranked articles, published 22 short stories—including one in the science fiction section of Nature—and has won two L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future awards.

Jessica has worn many hats: grant writer, researcher, fundraising consultant, copywriter, editor, project manager, social media manager, personal assistant, and web designer. She is proficient in tools such as ConvertKit, Kajabi, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Canva, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, ChatGPT, Recurpost, Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, and Instrumentl—always choosing the right platform to amplify voices and make important work visible.
IMPACT
As a part-time grant writer and fundraiser over the last two years, Jessica has made a half a million-dollar impact. Her most recent success was helping Family Assistance Ministries secure six different city development block grants for a total of about $50,000.
LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE
Since 2021, Jessica has served on the board of the Jana Project as treasurer and chairperson. Previously, from 2006 to 2011, she worked as a teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools.
Jessica is also deeply committed to service. She has volunteered planting trees at and cleaning Occoquan Regional Park, taught English online to young adults in Pakistan through the KhudKhaar program, facilitated safe spaces at Muslims for Progressive Values, co-led the Feeding Our Neighbors Program with Inclusive Muslims of Central Virginia, and currently supports the Alberti Mosque in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in its campaign to feed the underprivileged. These experiences reflect her belief that communication, when paired with compassion, creates real change in communities.
RESILIENCE AND BACKGROUND
As a cancer and fibromyalgia survivor, Jessica brings resilience, strength, and positivity to every endeavor. She understands firsthand the challenges of overcoming adversity and channels that energy into helping others thrive. She’s a Muslim convert who is currently living as a digital nomad in Argentina with her husband.
Her background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature with a Minor in Technical Writing from George Mason University (2008–2012), as well as a Grant Writing Certificate (2021). She is a native English speaker, conversational in Spanish, and can type 80 words per minute.
